Working from home? Poll

Well, I keep debating about whether or not to become a Scentsy consultant. Scentsy is a company that makes wax warmers. (Think candles with no flame, but all the yummy smell.) The warmers are really pretty and they have one for pretty much any decor. I also like the fact that the wax is warmed by a 25 watt bulb and the wax does not get hot enough to burn your skin. (This I know from experience because Joseph stuck his whole hand in some melted wax.) The wax comes in reusable containers so you can pour it back in and change scents or combine them. The start-up cost is $99, which is pretty reasonable compared to other companies. Let me know what you think in the poll to the right. Thanks!

Joseph's Birthday

Joseph turned three on Saturday. Unfortunately, there was an ice storm, so we had to delay his party until the next day after church. Joseph also has a really bad cold, so he wasn't in the best mood. His favorite part was blowing out the candles. We put the candles on his own piece of cake so he wouldn't get anyone else sick. He wanted us to re-light the candles so he could blow them out a second time and Jacob got a video of it.

Top 5 for 2008

Here's our family Top 5 events of this past year (in no particular order):
1. Shae Everett was born on September 9th.
2. Jacob lost 40 pounds.
3. Mom and Dad Harwood got out of Hurricane Central and moved here (tornado central?). We are glad they are here.
4. Jacob made the Dean's list at Metro every quarter he had classes.
5. Jared, Allison, and Aiden visited us this summer before moving to Japan.

Happy New Year everyone!
