The joy of pregnancy
So, not to be all whiney or anything, but being pregnant . . . not so fun right now. I had the flu, then my morning sickness kicked in big time, and now, I'm getting another bad cold. Poor Joseph has been sick all week and I've been waiting to feel good enough to take him to the doctor. Luckily, I am on Zofran now, so at least my morning sickness is manageable. It really is true what they say about forgetting how much pain pregnancy and labor is. I think if we all had a clear remembrance, not many of us would have more than one kid. All I know is that it is worth it! Kids are the best. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a wonderful little boy to take care of. He's a bundle of energy and can make me laugh anytime. He can tell when I'm not feeling well, and snuggles up next to me, looks right into my eyes, and gives me a big silly grin. That is definitely worth all the struggles in the world!

So here goes nothing
Well, since I've sworn off facebook and myspace, I am starting a blog! It was actually Tovah's (my old roommate) idea, and she has a really great blog, so hopefully I can keep mine up. For this of you who I haven't talked to in the past month, I am pregnant - due sometime in early September. Wish me luck in this new on-line endeavor! There is a picture of the three of us at the base when the NASA shuttle stopped here and another shot of Joseph playing at the Children's Museum. Don't worry, he's all boy, so the bumps and bruises come with the territory. I think I might have a few pictures of him where he doesn't have any?!?
